Mopas-BT professional

The Mopas-BT system is intended for the professional protection of vulnerable people in society. These can be people who more often have to work alone, but also for the elderly and people with disabilities, who increasingly live alone in our society. The Mopas-BT system has an availability of 99.99% and is fully self-monitoring, with a speech/listening connection for alarm verification, a unique medical scientifically validated fall detection, a large round button for acute assistance and a square button for door release.

Mopas-BT, the only track&trace device in the Netherlands that records the position every 20 seconds and still operates 24 hours on battery power. And the tracking information is stored for 7 days in the portal.

The Mopas-BT consists of a portable, wireless transmitter with a GSM connection, GPS and Wifi positioning and is linked to a charging station with home beacon detection. This makes it possible to know at any time where a person is located indoors and outdoors. The emergency calls go directly to multiple emergency and/or informal carers and if desired also to a care alarm center.

Fall detection

With the unique validated fall detection system, developed in collaboration with Maastricht University, there is also a detection moment present when things go wrong and the person is no longer able to sound the alarm independently. But this fall algorithm also prevents unnecessary messages from being sent when a person goes down with the lift, for example. The Mopas-BT device is the only alarm transmitter in the market with this medically validated fall detection!

Expansion possibilities

The Mopas-BT unit is wirelessly connected to several wireless sensors, such as a neck / wrist transmitter, a pull switch, an off-bed sensor, a fire detector and contact sensors up to a maximum of 16 pieces. The contact sensors can be used for automatic welfare notifications and to control electric door locks.

Functionalities

The Mopas-BT system has multiple user profiles with different time settings for positioning, communication with the alarm server and geo-fence zones. This allows the device to be adapted to the needs of users in terms of duration of use. As standard, we maintain a 24-hour functionality, because loading once a day is an easy routine.

And of course the battery capacity is monitored and both the user and the rescuer receive a message when the battery runs out.

Multiple geo-fence zones can be set per user at street level (no circle) and per zone can be set whether there is an alarm when entering and/or leaving the zone.

The Mopas-BT is a fully Dutch product that communicates via the international GSM network in Western Europe at one rate and with roaming in the Netherlands. If no GSM network is available, a connection via WiFi and/or 868Mhz is made to the alarm server. Connected under all circumstances.

All collected data of users with the routes taken during the past 7 days are stored in our portal. If a demented person forgets to bring their device, we can use this last 7 days info to determine where to look today.
