The FreeWalker project is an international AAL (active & assist living) project, in which 9 knowledge institutions, software agencies and healthcare institutions work together in the Netherlands, Austria and Switzerland.
The goal of FreeWalker is to arrive at one security solution that allows people with dementia to live independently for longer and to go outside safely and freely.
Today, November 1, 2020, we started the pilot tests at 3 healthcare institutions in the Netherlands, Austria and Switzerland. The current planning is to bring the product to the market in the second quarter of 2021.
